God-Given Gifts are for Us to Enjoy
One of the many, many God-given gifts that I enjoy is the gift of family.

The members of the family are:
  • dad
  • mom
  • brother
  • sister
And of course, being a Christian, the head of my family is our Heavenly Father.

This morning after my devotional, I found this cute quotation in one of the books piled near to my bed.

"A family is a unit composed
not only of children
but of men,
women,
an occasional animal
and the common cold."

Christian Kids Joke What Would Jesus Do
I always find kids jokes very, very funny.

Kids are so naive and they say things from their tender heart.

They are true and honest when they make comments about the makeup you're wearing that it doesn't work for you wrinkles. ('',)

When my kids were little I always wondered how they come up with these cute sayings.

Here's a funny kids' story and it comes with a very good lesson...

One day a mother heard her two little boys, Jerry and Tommy, arguing in the kitchen. Just like other kids, these young ones love cupcakes.

In the kitchen they found one cupcake left and of course, they were fighting about who should get to eat it.

The mother asked them: "Boys, what would Jesus do?"

She said further: "If Jesus were here, He'd say, 'Let my brother have the last cupcake.'"

Jerry, the eldest said, "Fine. Tommy, you be Jesus."

"Let's not pray for our children to
'just be good' I believe we need to be
praying for GODLY children."

Music is one of the gifts from God that I am grateful for. I am talking about Christian music — songs that glorifies God and uplifts us.

I love Maranatha Music, especially the songs from the original singing group. I found the songs sang by the original singers give me a worshipful experience.

"I Love You, Lord" is one of my favorites. This song is very WORSHIPFUL and PRAYERFUL.

You can watch the video and sing along.

Below the video you can also find the lyrics.

I love You Lord
And I lift my voice
To worship you
Oh my soul rejoice
Take joy my King
In what You hear
Make it be a sweet, sweet,
sound in Your ear.

Here is one of God's promises from the Bible that I treasured — "I will never leave you" which can be found in 2 different verses. This promise gives me assurance of His presence and peace.

Every time I see the image of Jesus holding a child (which you can find below) it just gives me so much peace and joy.

Deuteronomy 31:6 (New King James Version NKJV)

"Be strong and of good courage,
do not fear nor be afraid of them;
 for the Lord your God,
He is the One who goes with you.
He will not leave you nor forsake you.”

Hebrews 13:5 (New King James Version NKJV)

 ...For He Himself has said,
“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

What a sweet assurance from God that He will never leave us.

May we always remember of His GREAT love to us!
